Resilient Rubber Pad
A steel reinforced resilient pad has been developed in order to provide a flexible bearing between the rail and the crane beam/sole plate ~ this is what is commonly know as a soft mounted system.
For a discontinuous rail system on chair plates a Mark 2 chair pad has been designed
but in this particular case the resilient pad is not steel reinforced.
The resilient pad has many advantages, not least the reduction in noise levels and vibration.
